Since 1994 Widmer Brothers Brewing has been crafting a wide range of beers in its Portland-based brewery, ranging from Chocolate Russian Imperial Stout, through Alchemy Pale Ale and on to something called Downward Spiral. The firm has chosen to mark its 30th anniversary in a novel way, by releasing a deluge of different small-batch beers over a twelve-month period. Each beer will apparently be tapped from those it has produced and will relate to a particular year, via both the beer itself and its bottle artwork. The project began in April, with all the designs created by Portland creatives. The labels below are from the beers released to date, with details about the brews and the label designers available on the 30 Beers for 30 Years microsite.
