Hello guys,
For a quite long time I've been absent here, and unfortunately it would not change for another several months due to other resposibilities. Nevertheless, I would like to ask a favour regarding my MA. I always remember you as guys who are amazingly creative and open, and simultaneously, you do not treat this web as manufacture (as opposed to other stocks), but as a way to rather give a flow to your wonderful ideas. Thus, your community (or should I say "our") was my first thought when I came up with my MA thesis.
But let me explain. I'm writing about conceptual metaphor and metonymy in the process of logotype creation. What I need is an initial sketch that leads your way to create a logo. But be aware... I'm not focusing on the artistic aspect (to a certain extent) of the sketch. I'm more interested in your thinking process that is committed to paper or other types of medium. The result (complete logo) is just an addition to conclude the whole work (but nevertheless required). I asked several individual designers to send me their works, and now I'm asking you wheteher you are willing to share your sketches. If you agree please give me a message on this forum, and then we would think about a way to share it.
The proper package should cover scan of initial sketches of a logo and a tagline, the final version (printable in small format, say, 5x5cm on paper), and your comments.
I would like to add that I will not pay for the packages, but I will mark your contribution in the work (resources and references section). Your works shall not be used for any commercial purposes.
Let me set a deadline - I would be more than happy if you give answers until 17th August 2012. We'll be in touch.
Thanks in advance,
dry_cleaner

Hey,
I already found this one through David Airey's blog. Big thanks, nevertheless.
If you have anything else, feel free to share. As soon as I collect a huge pack of projects, I will start the selection process:)
Thanks again for your link,
