In any case, Asura's version is a pixel-for-pixel copy of your Brandstack logo. Also, changing the levels or curves in Photoshop reveals different shades of blue on their almost-black blues.

I wrote them on facebook. If they fail to delete or buy the logo, I will them file a DMCA report with FB and contact the admin of the forum and/or their hosting provider.
How does this work? Do you designers just do random image searches for your logos? For those of you with many pages of logos that must eat up a lot of time.
I think thats the only way to do it :(.. I wish there was some automated way to do it... where it could atleast notify you if something appears similiar on google image search or what not.. but that could require a bit of programming..
If it's possible to program it into the site, then maybe it should be done.

In the past, Ivan has helped by first sending an email and giving them 48 hours to comply. After that it's a little bit trickier, particularly when dealing with copyright infringement in the People's Republic of China.

"In the past" doesn't imply a modification in behavior. The only reason I used those words was not to indirectly insinuate that it is Ivan's responsibility. I believe he does it as a favor to us all and so, it shouldn't be expected. That being said, I also believe that an email from StockLogos would be taken more seriously than a email from a random email provider. So that's why I hope that he will continue to help us in these matters. :o)

Я так частенько делаю (буквально вчера 2 аккаунта почистили и 1 вообще закрыли за злостные нарушения), и все работает прекрасно. С этим говнюком нет смысла разговаривать, он фейсбуку никогда не докажет что это его рук дело так как ты первый напишешь DMCA репорт.

Чем более подробно ты представишь ситуацию админам фейсбука, тем быстрее они предпримут шаги по удалению плагиата.

Just got a response from the bar that stole my logo, they claim because they're a local bar and don't have it trademarked and because the font is not the same, then "it's no problem" unbelievable. smh at these clowns.
Idiots. People think that just because something is on the web that it's free to take.
Some time ago I was contacted about that logo by a pastor. He really liked it, but couldn't afford it. Today by accident I noticed, he most probably decided to take it for free. I know it's a simple idea, but can't believe it's an accident, especially if my fake name used at stocklogos for that logo is exactly the same as church which now is using my concept on their website.

So far I got no reply at all at my email sent to this church. But I checked my old emails, and found out that priest/pastor who contacted me is exactly the same person who's behind that website/church. So now I'm 100% sure he just took what he liked without permission.
FYI, yesterday I received finally a reply from this church and they removed the logo from website. Also today I got a confirmation from Facebook they will remove pictures of logo used without my permission.

They claim to be marketing professionals, working for the premium market sector. Can you imagine how ironic this is?! I'm seriously pissed off. Maybe it's immature, but I just could help posting those comments )) I want other people to know who they are before the logo is put down by request.

Hey, I have another bright idea :D What if you tell the major advertising agencies about the whole issue? On their facebook pages... Here, for example http://www.facebook.com/ogilvy and here http://www.facebook.com/bbdoworldwide. This conference had speakers from these companies, or so they said. So just tell them the whole story, and don't forget the other stolen logo, because those who used it are, in fact, the organizers of the infamous conference.
I've sent them a message on FB, and told them that you already filled a DMCA report on Facebook, and that if they want to use the logo they will have to buy it, or delete from everywhere and come up with their own creation.
It's a conference about how to create and maintain a Premium Brand, with speakers from very well known ad agencies like Ogilvy, BBDO, Red Keds, etc...

If it's on the internet and it's on a screen it's technically possible to steal designs. It's not up to StockLogos.com really. We can only add more watermark, but it was recently requested to be removed to be less to sell better. I think this is just part of the business. We have to chase the cheaters. Large companies don't dare to do it, at least we had no case so far.

I have just recieved a response to my post there (check it out). Obviously it is the guy who owns the events agency (under the "Royal Theater Productions" logo). He says he paid for both logos to someone else, who had presented them as their own original work. He also says that he had to pay twice: first to that "designer" and then to "the real author of these logos". Now I have a question: have you been paid?

sorry but... why you put the same logo in the additional image section without the watermark? i think this watermark is unuseful but you put your logo more easy to steal.
If you read the description of that particular logo, you will see that the first additional-image is not exactly the same as the main image; the main image shows the PNG converted from the CMYK original version. The first additional-image is a PNG converted from an RGB version showing a set of more vibrant colors. And the other additional-images show other configuration of placement (in full color and in black only).
Some users are adding their own watermarks to the additional-images, I opted to wait for StockLogos to do this so that there won't be a conflict of two watermarks competing when the additional-images watermark is implemented. Which, I hope will be soon. Ivan?

Maybe you should consider giving it out for free? I know it may sound weird, but I'm sure that a gesture like that would bring you much more income than spending that much time and energy on trying to find the thieves and convincing that they have committed a crime.

Well, I can read this language :) Which does not help much. I don't quite understand what is going on on that site. There is a list of Spanish cities and what is claimed to be a list of travel agencies (with logos, every one of each is, well, borrowed). The list of so-called agencies is a fake, these addresses do not exist either. The phone numbers look completely fictional. Also there are stock photos on that site. Generally it looks like a template made for a client and filled with random content found on the Internet.

This is really getting to be frustrating already. Admin doesn't seem to care anymore about all these complaints we have about our works being stolen.
They should realize it's their loss too not just ours. And this gives a bad rep to the site for being a source of illegally acquired intellectual properties.
Is there any legal actions that can be done against these thefts or group or organizations that we can approach to solve online problems such as these ?
I think admin does care. But ANY image on the internet is subject to be stolen - either by download, trace of redraw. Admin can not keep that from happening - even with extensive watermarking. There are instances where an email warning from SL might expedite a faster outcome, sure. But, I personally would prefer to keep the commission at it's currant rate than make demands on SL and create more fees against sold designs.
Well my confidence level on Ivan is still high. I just somehow got the feeling that many of the recently reported thefts were not being taken care of much lately. I do agree that there'd always be ways for anyone to copy a design but that's where we'll have to trust and depend on the reliability of a site hosting our works in protecting our intellectual property. So this particular demand for admin to approach the offending sites shouldn't incur additional costs from us as I think this is a case of command responsibility.
Unless i missed that item on the terms here when I registered.
I do care, but the designer must report it first and only post here if he fails to get it removed. Every time I check this thread 9 out of 10 times the logo is already removed. :)

this is my site and it's not bad at all - it is very strange to me that no one has seen the notification on the left side of the site that these logo-thumbs are taken from StockLogos.com. (with the direct link to the SL site).
Besides that - if you hover with the mouse over the thumbs - you can read the TITLE tag which contains
the designer's screen name (I did not know the real designer's name - if I knew it - I will wrote the full designer's name there.)
These thumbs are used ONLY for presenting various logo-types - and NOT for my promotion by using someone else's hard-work...
If it would help - I can put the additional notification below each of the thumbs.
Besides that - I can ask for a permission of each designer for displaying her/his logo on my site.
If you still want to remove it - I'll do it in 48 hrs.

It's all very nice that you've got the title tag filled with the designer's name, and a stocklogos notification and a link, both so small that no one saw them. But what pisses me off, is that you didn't even ask for permission before using my work on your website for commercial purposes. I am certain that PV had this logo up before. I think it was taken off the sale side so that it could be entered into a contest.
