I also haven't seen the movie, but it sucks anyway. Have you ever seen a well done "scribble" logo ? ;-)
Maybe I just don't get how something that looks like it was scrawled on a cocktail napkin can be a logo.
The movie is about sick violence.
Combine that with the scratchy style, and two big knives, and it's supposedly for children... it's disturbing.
That doesn't mean it should be banned.
True. But, what if someone else who hasn't seen the movie or read the book buys it, thinking it's an innocent scribble to represent their daycare center?
I would be more comfortable with it if the text read "Ninja Cat".
It's not going to sell to a day care centre and if by chance it did that would be down to the client not the designer. No one in the right mind would use it for a day care logo, it has swords on it!
