M D S Wed, 11/23/2011 - 17:59

In some cases we have answer and we know. :)
This post can be quite interesting.
For start here is one of my:

Nice post, I'll be interested in seeing more logos in action.
By the way... Ouch! The last one (Midre) is stretched... my eye is twitching...

I know, first time I've seen this today. Nothing to do with me I'm afraid, the client has obviously tried to have a go himself or hasn't acquired the skills of a professional web designer. It's a shame because I did offer this to him! To be fair though it does state the site is under construction, I'm doing my own at the moment and it's hard to fit the time in while doing paid projects and holding down a full time job away from design.

Yes. It's just ugly to see when a client distorts logo. Or made redesign by himself :)))

ROCKADERO: buddy, I wondered how so far no one has post this. So I am... sorry, :)))

I hope we see more logos in use...

Proceeds from Eva Longoria's Pre-Oscar Party went to Linda's Voice the event's featured charity. Had air time on Extra too!

Staghead is great logo, Too bad because is not expressed beside to text.

Yeah, client is always right though ;)

I have all the finished logos at home of the other designs, so will be able to remember their names.

http://www.6ixs.com

Both domain and logo are in their original form! (6ixs.com suited perfectly an "IPv6" service provider ! :) )

What do you think?

M D S's picture

Great!!! That's Full Branding.

I think a REFERENCES link on home page would increase selling,

It is nice to see more and more logos in use!

Thanks for posting that – It's especially interesting to see how logos get changed to suit the buyers' needs.

ROCKADERO's picture

The first is nothing to do with me, it was changed by the client. I don't think it works. The 2nd one I did change for the client, big difference and I think it shows maybe it's best leaving it to the designer to make the changes.

AKMulligan's picture

True. I have a page in my physical portfolio that shows my original brochure layout along with the final client version. The evolution was pretty extreme and people are always fascinated to see the difference.

Hello... I am new here ;)

Congrat to all of you, guys...
I hope my time will come soon.

Oh man, I just saw my logo on a client's webpage and they've used Comic Sans for the text. :(

grego66's picture

Good logo but that background isn't doing it any favours.

Crumbit's picture

Thanks. Yes, you're right about the background.

Jon Askill's picture

But that's Arial isn't it? Or have they since changed it?

I think that the poor choice of background is the biggest crime - it serves to produce both a website and logo which are clearly not employing teamwork.

Hi,
I also thought recently how to know purchased logo and where they it use))))
Tell me how your find yours logos?

Crumbit's picture

I'm not crazy about the fact that I don't know who buys my logos and where they end up. I was in contact with the buyer of the computer logo, because she wanted some color changes, and that's how I know where that one ended up. But I have no idea who bought the first logo I sold (Bubbly Media).

This is such a cool thread!

This is a great post. Very inspiring to see sold logos in action.

grego66's picture

That's good, was the domain name part of the deal or coincidence?
