Christian Jackson's minimalist classic children’s story series

admin Sat, 09/21/2013 - 20:38

Designer Christian Jackson taken the classic children's stories that many of us grew to know and love and simplified them into hyper-minimalist, iconographic posters. Inspired by fatherhood, he attempted to capture the beauty and honesty of popular classic children's stories through clever imagery, rich color, and old world texture. By mixing the old with the new these posters invoke the nostalgia of rich history while maintaining the aesthetics for modern home decore.

The images shown in the post are the free desktop backgrounds. You can buy the posters and other goods from his website.

So great!! Love those.
"Little red riding hood" doesn't fit in really though. Too much going on in that one.

I remember seeing the Wizard of Oz poster before they added the little heart in the middle of the nose...
