Pinterest traffic is massive, people like the image put up then it's pinned to all their followers and so and so. Not sure about general blogs though.

We retweet and facebook it. Pretty good traffic. Most importantly it's about incoming links. That's very valuable to grow us high on google.

Twitter is unbelievable for me at the moment. I've had 3 leads for logo design in the last 3 days, sold 2 logos here and gaining more followers daily. Also taking into account my instagram account that links to Twitter and then there is Pinterest.

We all hate spam but with Twitter I think its like silent spamming lol. I've based who I follow around start up business, I don't see the point following design related twitterers, they are looking to sell logos not buy them. I do follow people I know here and around design but normally I specifically target start up. If follow certain business type, say, wedding organisers, then when a few follow back, you tweet your wedding related logos hoping they take a look.

Like fishing lol you have to put bait in the pond with fish in it to catch fish. Pointless fishing the empty pond.

All of the social media channels are worth doing, but as with everything it takes months to get enough followers and make enough of an impact, but you should start as early as possible and be persistent. I will help you with retweets to grow.

Awesome! I think some of TJNSL11's logos belong there. I've been a long-time fan of that designer, a lot of whose logos look like they could work for sports teams, even if that's not how they're labeled.

Hello, great collection! I'm looking forward to see other designer's choices. :o)

One little suggestion... As it is now, it might be confusing to some visitors to know who's who. If somebody looks fast at the designer's name and ignores the small text right under said name, then it might seem that the logos below the designer's name belong to said designer. So, maybe you want to add some space between designers or even better, maybe you want to change the order a bit: Designer's name, followed by a small list of logos in text form, followed by the actual logos, followed by some white space...

What do you think?

Hi! A few of us here are large bodies of work. Older logos sit with little to no traffic or views as they are at the end of search returns. Only the most persistent buyer would ever see them. I understood it that links outside of SL are the problem. How can internal links to damage to SL or to designers? I am in no way leading a buyer out of the site or away from designs here, I am not providing them with a means of getting a hold of me or finding my work on other sites. I am not using HTML so the actual URL to the link can been readily seen.

I am not sure what the problem is.

Just to make sure... Ivan, I'm talking about internal links from SL to SL. That is, links to other SL logos inside a SL logo description and/or a link to the designer's SL profile inside a SL logo description.

I'm not saying the post is old, rather I liked it, I never knew about the Cluenatic logo. I'm just talking about the Fedex Arrow and its pitch.
OK, you tell me how a single directional arrow > depicts an Express service not ordinary. To me, I repeat to me Ordinary is just like Play > (button), so Express should be like Forward-fast >>, double the ordinary one. Just that.
I'm not sure if I have able to express you what I mean to say here with my poor English. :(

Nancy making a Mona Lisa using negative space without proper meaning of the logo is not so creative, isn't it. But yes the Typography use is cleaver. BTW what stands for b/c you always use, my English is too bad :(

I genuinely believe your original Altarara logo is better than the Fedex on so many levels, especially if it was just one colour. There's obvious thought and achievement there, the Fedex is a convenient albeit happy accident. The explanation of their logo was an after thought.

I'm convinced the Fedex arrow was a happy accident despite what the designer says. I believe it has been completely over hyped and it actually doesn't work as a service mark on one side of any Fedex van, the arrow is pointing in the wrong direction; the van is going one way the arrow is pointing the other.

For me the USA network logo is much better.

Edit:
Just have to say I'm a big fan of the USA network logo.
