Some of us still remember Graphis as a printed publication. Calling itself The International Journal of Visual Communication, it began publication in 1944 and consistently featured the work of top fine artists, illustrators and graphic designers before ceasing publication in 2004. Rather than disappearing, it has happily found a sustainable approach by providing archives of award-winning work from the old Annuals on its website, as well as issues of the past magazines. It also introduced a new Journal and relaunched its respected competitions. Below are the Platinum winners from the recent Graphis Logo Design 8 competition.
