Design Thinking ~ client asked for an interesting approach to the number 52 avoiding the obvious cliche of actual cards.
I have merged the 5 and 2 using the negative space to create a striking brand mark that incorporates all the suits in a standard deck of cards. Again while not instantly recognizable as the number I feel the slightly obscure nature of the logo will encourage the viewer to take a little longer to decipher it's meaning, which should not be seen as a barrier to brand recognition. Any logo that makes you think about it a little more than usual is bound to be more memorable.
