I like your logo. One suggestion is to use different angle of gradient for each of the for "boxes". I also like your font.

i liked the concept of golden shield wings with levelone marking. the only concern is about how to apply this on the housing of our various equipments now. we manufacture a quite a few products and the logo to be embossed/stamped on the housing. so, we need a free size and the logo should be distinct even when we apply on our smallest products. I am afraid whether we could still use the bottom portion 'communications and the tag line' while we emboss it as the logo will be too big to be accomodated on products housing.. wot do you suggest? Also do let me know how could we do a dual tone logo for embossing? for stregth, do u suggest to use brushed steel appreance for the embossed the logo? Also printing the logo on the product housing with multicolor and special effects will be a difficult task to be achieved. Of course we could apply all the effects of the logo for stationeries. Your suggestions and comments are welcome.
i was actually looking for a trademark/logo that could go along with our product range. The logo should give the feeling of safety and security, strength like a fortress, innovation in communications and advancement in technology and automation. if you think introducing a new name/mark is necessary to give the requested look and rugged feel; you may free to opt a different name as well.
I understand your worries about the typography i should of thought of that of that before hand. Maybe just the shield and wings logo could be placed on the products(without the type)? I think that would still effectively brand your products.
As far as embossing goes i will talk to a friend who has dealt more with that and get back to you asap, however im pretty sure that you could simply emboss the black wings and border of the shield( id make the border a bit thicker for you). again, ill find out the specifics for you and get back to you soon!
My suggestion for printing on housing would be no special effects on the shield, id make a simplified version of the logo (maybe just 2 colors-black and gold; no gradient or shine) I think the effects are just nice touch when possible but not necessary. If you would like i could show you what a a 2 colored version without the effects would look like and if you still wanted to go with this logo id just include free ofcourse.

hi VectorWarrior, does that mean we completely remove the text including 'LevelOne' on top?
I thought the 'flying golden shield' with LevelOne written on top would go well with it..But, do you really suggest the shield without any text on top? if so; how about the brand recall facto?? I would like to see how does the logo look in 2 color version also if possible.In case if we decide to keep LevelOne text as it is; we will have to emboss the text 'LevelOne' as well, right?
yeah i think keeping the LevelOne for brand recal would be best. and i will upload a 2 color version soon, no problem. Also, level one would look best embossed i believe.

Would you be able to provide back & white version as well? And would it be possible to have white border/shading to go around text and simbol, since it would go on black background? Or do you have any other suggestions for black backround?

Yes i would also include a black and white version as well, I would recommend making the text white and the outside ridge of the shield white. Then the inside of the shield black and the gap in the middle white, along with the wings ofcourse.
