That is one low price. To low.

IMO the price is OK, a logo like this cannot be too expensive since it is not too complicated and features a simple shape.

I think that is not what determines the price, but how good does it match client needs. Than for example Nike logo should sell for 50$ as it is very simple and not complicated? ;)

The prices of logotypes is something that has been discussed violently an passionately for years, and my point of view is: a logo's price cannot be determined by the wealth of the client.

Nike's logo would indeed have been worth 50 bucks if it would have been sold here as a stock logo and would have not been affiliated to Nike.

A logotype's price has to include several things beside its graphical implementation like:
- an underlying idea that fits the purpose and goals of the product/service/company it represents
- a high usability
- professionally documented usage guidelines

Stock logotypes that can be purchased on websites like this one generally lack some of these requirements and because of that cannot pretend to higher prices since they don't fit a concrete purpose, and designers that are creating and selling these logos are basically 'shooting in the dark'. If a stock logotype suits the needs of a client, he gets bought, but there is ALWAYS a compromise somewhere (it's like wearing a pair of shoes size 43 when you really needed size 42.5 but there were none in stock).

Anyway, this concrete logo here is nothing too good nor too bad, so 90 bucks is probably what it's worth..

Completely disagree, but we are all entitled to our opinions : )

If we are ever going to get out of the "starving artist" way of living, we need to start getting smart and putting the due value that is deserved in our creativity, the logos we spawn, [if done properly that is], give life to a business and assist in the generation of revenue, that is without mentioning licensing rights, it doesn't matter how simple or complicated. We really should value ourselves and our work more.

I agree that $90 would be fine for something that is picked off from an already existing lot, but to have something made specifically, now there I think it's a minimal of $300, but this whole thing of having people bid globally, $90 is allot for someone living in India, $90 for me here in the states is change for coffee.

Hugs to everyone ! & hoping Stock Logos will evolve into something that will be mutually beneficial for both buyer & creative.

A logo or design is only worth whatever a client is willing to pay for it - end of! If the client doesn't like the price, they won't buy it.

I price mine on a rough time scale basis. Because I'm in the UK my time is worth £40 per hour, and if I spend 2-3 hours on a brief (that can include several design solutions) it equates to £120-150 approx! That in turn equates to a dollar value approximately double that of the pound.

A lot of designers here seem to be of the opinion that simple designs MUST command a low price! WHY? I've worked hard for over 12 years as a professional designer, I've studied hard and worked hard to get to where I am today, and my time and my skills are valued and are of worth the money I ask - END OF! A good design just doesn't consist of a well illustrated logo - it exists as a good concept or idea, good illustration and good professional finish - that makes the final package. A good design sells itself on all these levels and a client will spot this instantly. Clients are not fools, and most aren't afraid to pay for quality.

Designers, don't sell yourself short. It's the biggest mistake that freelance designers make, knocking down their prices for fear of losing work or alienating a client. Clients on here have the luxury of paying a simple one off fee to post a brief, then a fee to buy a logo if they so choose. In the real world, a designer can charge for all the messing around of name changes, colours changes etc that often goes on during a design brief. Quite often this is imply not the case on here, and most clients in this regard have it very lucky indeed.

Designers, your time is valuable - so don't be afraid to charge for it!

Well. I am not a professional designer yet, I'm still in school I joined this website just to gain experience in reading and designing for breifs. To experiment with my logo ideas and have people see them, and rate them. If I sell something, that's just a finacial bonus!

You do what you keep doing and you'll go along way. But never sell yourself short or feel you have to charge more or less for a job for fear of losing it. I personally think this is a good logo, so well done you :)
