Designer favorites?
I've poked around a few contests and there are some fantastic logos that don't seem to be getting the attention I think they deserve. Now, I understand that it's the client's project and they're certainly entitled to like and pay for whatever they want, but I find myself wanting to "like" (a la Facebook) a few that I think are wonderfully thought out applications of the client's narrative. Maybe something like that could help the...

Status: Rejected. Reason: Your eps file contains embedded raster images. We only accept fully vector based logos. Please remove embedded images/links and any other elements that are not vector. Check your links palette in Illustrator (Window menu -> Links) and make sure it's empty. Please read the exact steps of saving the logo files in the rules.

Hello,
I know I might be opening a can of worms here. But, this has been bothering me for a while and this morning the subject was brought up in another thread. I believe it is the 5th time the subject is brought up in the fora.

I'm back - what's new?
Hey guys,
formerly known as Cross The Lime, I am now back with a new project.... personal challenge, post one logo a day to SL and the website, do some Pinterest and Facebook... meaning a year own the road, I should have >300 logos up and be rich and famous. :)
What's new? I notice when searching, I still get the same logos over and over again... Contests are still underpaid and full of clipart... recent sales...

I forgot... opacity in EPS8?
Can someone remind me if I can use gradients with opacity in EPS8? Otherwise I gotta fiddle with the file...
