Now Spotted is an internet website focused on local markets where visitors can submit their "spots". Spots may include nominating/rating items on local restaurant menus, rating wine bottles at wine stores, etc.
Users can submit their "spots" via the website, or via mobile app.
Using geographic information, users can use the website or smartphone app to see what other users have "spotted" in their area based upon search terms like pizza, etc. They will be presented with a map with "pins" or "spots" posted by other users... they then can click and see the item, ratings, comments, etc.
Special Requirements
Prefer not to have "vertical" logos...
Prefer the primarily colors of blue, green, yellow, purple, red, orange vs. earth tones (browns, tans, etc.)
Target audience
The visitors of our site obviously embrace technology, majority participate in social networking to some level (facebook, linkedin, twitter, etc.), between the ages of 18 to upper 30's, travel or explore within their city routinely. Smartphone users.

Our objective is a fun, modern, and eyecatching logo. A logo which can be used via multiple mediums including on the web, and in print.

When we started the contest, we thought we may get a logo we liked. The good news there are quite a few great ideas, so picking "the one" will actually be difficult. We do like the concepts with the pins/markers... maybe having the "pin" or "marker" touching a map or "green" land?
Overall, some really great submissions.
Rockadero - Yours is colorful, but the "Now Spotted" is too small compared to the pin.
If you have found a design that is closest to your dreams, but has small defects, you can discuss them with the designer by the mail. I think any designer would be happy to finish his artwork according to your requirements.

Thank you everyone for your hard work. We are surprised at how difficult of a decision we have, as we have quite a few logos we really like. We hope to have a decision very soon... thank you all again. Your creativity surpassed our expectations...
saw your comment little late. I have done some options. but as the contest is closed I cant upload those. I mailed Ivan/moderator. waiting for his reply.
We're still trying to determine which one we like best. We are trying to make a decision by tomorrow (I hope). We really like 7 of the designs... the issue we're encountering though is "we really like 7 of the designs." : )

In the last time no body pick the winner on the contests, ihave along list with out winners. What happen here?
people work all the time to give the maximum and any contact from the administration explain what happen here.

We will be picking a winner... I assure you of that. We are going through the list and finalizing... We are down to our final four. I guarantee we will list a winner within the next 24-48 hours... even if we have to flip a coin over it...
We are still unsure... so we may have to resort to flipping of the coin (a few times). We want to wish Adrianus, Danilza, Rockadero, and Tridipnandi luck. Thank you to all those designers which we "Liked".

Final results are in. The decision was made between the four through the flips on a coin (as one of our team members voted against the non-traditional paper-rock-scissors selection method). Through a bracket system - the two finalists were Tridipnandi and Adrianus. Adrianus was heads, Tridip was tails. And the first to reach 3 out of five flips was Adrianus. Congrats!
Also congrats to Tridipnandi. We still may be interested in your work at well. And lastly to Danizila and Rockodero and everyone else who submitted logos - we really appreciate your efforts, and the outcome was much more than we expected.
