Senorial Hotel

I don't know if its better to re style the actual logo, or to do a new one. Trying to define the new contemporary concept with the new elements (glass, rustic marble, onix, etc..)
So I would like to have a logo that represents the classic of the name, years and location but at the same time the renewed and modern style.

Hello, nice brief, what's the city? perhaps Puebla? is there any color that you want to have?
Actually i like the isotype that you have, perhaps the fonts doesn't match at all with the concept.

Hola,
De usar un re diseño del logotipo actual, me gustaria mantener los colores actuales. Si no hacer algun logotipo abstracto con tonos en cafe (ya que se estan usando marmoles rusticos en tonos cafes, o sino usar en escala de grises como es la fachada...
Pero tampoco estoy cerrado a hacer un cambio usando solamente tipografia.
Que me recomiendas?

hola Felicheg, te tengo algunas propuestas... siendo sincero creo que todavia no llego a lo que quiero, pero ya mas o menos tengo la idea bien establecida, hice una propuesta algo fuera de nuestro brief en cuanto a color y forma, talvez no encajaria mucho en el estilo del hotel. Pero como siempre la última decisión es tuya.

He creado un concepto basado en el antiguo logo, pero agregándole ideas de arquitectura, elegancia, fuerte historia y orgullo de pertenecer al patrimonio local.
Espero que te guste.
Me quedé con un rojo burdeos noble y un gris oro pero podré cambiar los colores y la tipografía gratis si no te gustan.
Por favor, dime si te gusta.

Me gusta, pero prefiero algo mas sencillo y abstracto. Si usas como base el logo actual, me gustaria mantener los colores que se tienen, y de ser un logo nuevo, me gustaria que te fueras por tonos de grices como la fachada, o bien en tonos de cafe

Responding your questions:

I'm not close to restyle the actual logo, or to have new one, or use only letters. What do you recomend me?
I want a modern logo, with classic elements, maybe an abstract logo using the current colors, or even with grice tones (like the facade).

In spanish its Hotel Señorial, but I would like to use Señorial Hotel because it's more modern to use.

I want to use warm colors, maybe the curent ones, grice or browns....

A mix of styles, abstract, modern and a little bit of classic

www.senorialpuebla.com. It's an old website, you can look two diferent types of rooms bacause we have an extension in the hotel (an old house with only 5 colonial rooms) the rest of the hotel is with the contemporary style.

Now I'm much closer to pinpointing what you have in mind.

I can recommend a new logo - not a refreshment, because - recording to your answers - you want
a considerable logo change.
