We are a couple of guys, who are about to make a record label, but we need a great logo. I'm a graphics designer, but i really can't do logos, they just never gets good enough. So we want you guys to make a really cool logo for us. Thanks in advance. Target Audience
Young party people with taste for all kinds of electronic music. Your Objectives
It needs to be a logo, that fit well in on most backgrounds, and will look good on cd covers, and so on. We really like "The Ministry of Sound" logo, and we would want our logo to be similar to that logo. But if you got some other better ideas, please come with them.
Special Requirements
I'm designing our website in black and grey colors, so i'm thinking that the logo should be in white and orange colors. #cc6633 is the orange color that we use on the site, so it needs to be close to that. Price Range

Two logo ideas submitted initially, more to follow.
Idea one: http://stocklogos.com/node/5022 - A logo design that explores the rich heritage of mix tapes that made possible the early developments of the dance scene in the late 70's, 80's and 90's. Mix tapes were the networking tools of their day before the internet, allowing musical language and ideas to spread quickly. The majority of this happened underground and by word-of-mouth, so the logo design reflects this do-it-yourself attitude.
Idea two: http://stocklogos.com/node/5023 - A contemporary logo solution using adapted text and geometric shapes and forms to create an unusual, yet original logo solution.
Designs are pending approval by admin of course. I also have some more ideas that will explore a crest or shield type design, so watch this space :)

Oh my god.. really people? most of these are diabolical. awful. this is design shame. I cant believe where this industry is heading. Study previous design movements, actual respected designers. You'll understand.
Sorry but any male who uses the term "Oh my god" has gender issues.
Could you submit a logo design so i can see the genius that lies within thanks.
Opinion is one thing, belittling people is another. It's not big, it's not clever and it's not needed on here. The client will be able to perceive what is and is not a good logo design, and ultimately it's their opinion which matters. It is after all, the client who pays for the logo not you. While you're entitled to an opinion, flaunting it so readily to clearly insult others is really nothing more than an attempt to inflate a poor ego. Please, be a better person and don't do it! By all means be critical in a constructive manner, but don't be cruel for the sake of it. Many people who submit on here aren't professional, or don't make a living from being a professional designer, they simply enjoy designing for the sake of it.
